BMW's dual Neue Klasse concepts offered a glimpse into the future of the brand's upcoming design language recently, and now it's up to the rumor mill and the parallel universes of vehicular CGI to transpose them into the virtual world.
The BMW Neue Klasse sedan was introduced in 2023, and the X version popped up earlier this year. So, if the timetable is the same, in 2025, we're getting the first models featuring the new and highly controversial styling. Many people expected these two design concepts would serve as the preview for the next age of all-electric BMW models, but it turns out that is just the appetizer.

According to the rumor mill, BMW's corner office head honcho in terms of styling, Adrian van Hooydonk, said earlier this year at the Paris Motor Show to the good folks over at Top Gear that every new BMW coming out soon will feature the fresh DNA revealed by the Neue Klasse concepts – including the ICE, HEV, and PHEV models.

For example, some models will feature the same strategy as the 5 Series and 7 Series by getting only slightly different all-electric variants. Thus, BMW will soon have numerous Neue Klasse-inspired models on the roads: the new 3 Series along with the i3 and the M3, a couple of SUVs, as well as an interesting high-riding high-rear coupe that was caught testing by our spy photographer partners and surprised everyone around the automotive industry.

Anyway, back to the crossover SUVs, we already know the Vision Neue Klasse X concept, which marks one of the most radical redesigns in BMW's history, will soon morph into the next-generation BMW X5 and iX5 seeking to give the Tesla Model Y 'Juniper' a hard run for its money. Additionally, the first spy photographs of the next i3, which will be the all-electric version of the 3 Series sedan, have already popped up with tamer Neue Klasse design cues.

As such, everyone and their mother – including the members of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators – believes the G45 fourth-generation BMW X3, officially revealed in June, will soon get a new iX3 counterpart looking fresh (or rotten, depending on your POV) thanks to the Neue Klasse styling. For example, the virtual artist behind Larson Design (aka lars_o_saeltzer on social media) brings to life his CGI vision of the upcoming BMW iX3 with styling that's very close to the Vision Neue Klasse X.

A fully electric vehicle, it's not only the battery counterpart of the G45 BMW X3 but also the smaller sibling of the upcoming BMW X5 and iX5 siblings and one of the first models packing the Neue Klasse design (along with the latest BMW eDrive technology) in series production form. So, what do you think?
