I’ve recently set on a quest to improve the quality of my lunch breaks. I try to leave the good old “let’s take one of the test cars for a quick spin” behind. It’s much better to enjoy an actual lunch with the good friend or use the tester to get to the nearest park.
Well, I’ve just realized I’ll have to do much better than that. It’s all thanks to the video below, which shows what a true lunch break should be like.
I’m talking about stuff like going for a ride in an Ariel Atom, with a Rottweiler as your passenger. All with the aim of purchasing food, of course. What did you expect?
The clip, which comes from the gas-crazy team over at eGarage, shows us just that. In addition, this piece of footage kills many myths safety activists believe in.
For starters, the superb example we have here is wearing a seatbelt dogbelt. He is nicely trained and we suspect that he might even know what to do as a motorcycle pillion. You know, stuff like leaning through the corners.
Then we have the short heel-and-toe episode. Who says you can't do that through the city without driving like a maniac? Many people do, but this clip proves what we all know - you can.
By the way, this is one of the team’s Rottweilers and goes by the name of “Bronx”. Right now, we bet many envy him. How could you not? He gets to play, walk, eat and ride in an Atom during the lunch break. Oh, and he’s also civilized enough not to eat through the dog food bag while sharing the passenger seat with it.
PS: the Atom's number plate only comes as bonus.
