There is no easy way to present this previous-gen Audi S5 Sportback, so let's put pen to paper and get the story out there as you are looking at one ridiculous ride.
The first thing that stands out is the new alloy set. According to the video uploader, this premium compact sports sedan (it is actually a liftback) rides on 28-inch Asantis. The massive wheels have a gold look and polished lips, and required a lot of work to fit below the arches.

On a more positive aspect, the donk-ish look can easily be dropped, as it seems the owner drew the line at modifying the suspension and fitting the ginormous Asanti wheels, albeit with a bit of cutting. Everything else seems to be stock, and for what it's worth, it used to be a very nice Audi S5 Sportback before the brash makeover, featuring a great spec with a black exterior, the usual chrome trim, a nice leather interior, a sunroof, and so on.

Assembled between 2017 and 2024, the second-generation Audi S5 family featured a V6 engine. The twin-scroll turbocharged unit was good for 349 horsepower (354 ps/260 kW) and 369 pound-foot (500 Nm) of torque when the car rolled off the line. The model's top speed was electronically capped at the usual number, 155 mph/250 kph, and it took less than five seconds to zip from zero to sixty-two mph (100 kph). Those interested in more power could pick the superior Audi RS 5 or venture into the tuning game.

If you forgot, the new Audi S5 replaces the old S4, just like the regular new-gen A5 succeeds the B9 A4. For the 2025 model year, the Audi S5 lineup features an updated 3.0L V6 TFSI motor and benefits from mild-hybrid treatment. It packs a superior punch over the old car, enjoying 362 horsepower (367 ps/270 kW) channeled to the brand's quattro all-wheel-drive system through a self-shifting S tronic DCT. A sport differential with torque vectoring is also included.

The new-gen A5 family is on sale overseas, where deliveries will commence next month (November 2024). Details surrounding the A5/S5 for our market are yet under wraps and will be revealed later. Meanwhile, the four-ring brand continues to list the A5 lineup for the 2024 model year, with the A5 Coupe and S5 Coupe carrying respective MSRPs of $48,400 and $57,500. The A5 Cabriolet and S5 Cabriolet begin at $55,600 and $66,100, respectively.

The regular 2024 Audi A5 Sportback can be yours from $48,400, excluding destination, a number that increases to $57,900 for the S5 Sportback. The RS 5 tops the offering in Coupe and Sportback body styles, beginning at $79,600 for the former and $79,900 for the latter.
