BENELLI TNT R160 (2011-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2011, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Benelli TNT R160, the pinnacle of Benelli's naked line of motorcycles. It featured several carbon fiber elements and was the most powerful in the TNT range.

The Benelli TNT was a motorcycle derived from the Tornado Tre 900. It was manufactured from 2004 to 2016, and its TNT designation was an acronym for "Tornado Naked Tre." Tornado came from its engine and frame derived from its faired sibling, Naked because of its lack of fairings, and Tre from the three-cylinder engine.

In addition, the 2011 model came with the same package as the previous one, boasting the same technical, visual, and performance characteristics without any significant changes whatsoever.

The 2011 Benelli TNT R160 had installed a 1,130cc liquid-cooled four-stroke three-cylinder engine underneath its fuel tank. It was fed by a fuel injection system, boasting 158 hp with maximum strength at 10,200 rpm and 121 Nm (89 lb-ft) torque at 8,400 rpm.

As for the visual department, the bike was characterized by standard fittings, like a fork-mounted headlight with a small wind deflector on top, a tow-piece dual seat, a three-into-one exhaust system with a muffler placed under the seat, and five-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

The bike's riding experience was offered by a fully adjustable 50 mm inverted telescopic fork with 120 mm travel on the front end and a fully adjustable shock absorber with 120 mm travel on the rear.
