The Porsche 993 Turbo is one of the most iconic sports cars in automotive history, and a personal favorite for many aftermarket tuners and car enthusiasts. This bespoke model is the brainchild of New York-based fashion and lifestyle brand, Aime Leon Dore, and it features several visual and performance-related enhancements.
In terms of aesthetics, the fashion brand went with 993 Turbo S elements, such as the iconic Turbo S spoiler, a Turbo S exhaust, as well as the latter’s front splitter, thus elevating this Turbo’s aerodynamic credentials while also improving the design.

Further visual highlights include the 18-inch Porsche Turbo Twist wheels in Mulberry Green, with gold accents and Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 rubber. Of course, that Mulberry Green colorway matches the exterior, creating a wonderfully stylish contrast as only dark green and gold can. A very solid choice if I do say so myself – then again, I’m not a fashion icon so why am I even surprised at this car looking as good as it does?

“It’s great to see the latest installment of our partnership with Aime Leon Dore,” stated Porsche exec, Deniz Keskin. “The 993 is an iconic member of the 911 family and dream car for so many enthusiasts all around the world. ALD’s take is a wonderful way of contributing to that enduring legacy.”

Moving on to the interior, that’s where you’ll find dark brown leather, lambswool accents, and hardback seats with Mulberry Green backrests. Meanwhile, other highlights include the dark brown carpets, floor mats, and instrument cluster, while the steering wheel and headrests feature a custom Aime Leon Dore and Porsche logo.

Then you’ve got the door sills, with an inscription that reads: “A team from outta Queens with the American dream,” - kind of sounds like the Mets. Which is cool.

But wait, there’s more!

Aside from this stunning Mulberry Green Porsche 993 Turbo, ALD has also brought forward a new capsule collection featuring a range of apparel and accessories, including a Leather Club Jacket. The collection is currently available both in-store and online. Also, for the first time, Porsche Design of America will offer a select range from this limited-edition capsule, available only on the West Coast at the Porsche Design Store in Beverly Hills.

“It has been a refreshing experience to work on this capsule with the ALD team,” said Porsche lifestyle exec, Nicola Ader. “The result is the perfect match for the car and a great way for both communities around the world to become part of this project.”

Show me a nicer 993 Turbo

This is usually the part where we show you one or two nicer examples of whatever car is currently the subject of the story. However, I’m not going to do this bespoke 993 a disservice like that. It truly is stunning and at least on this day, it doesn’t deserve to be overlooked.
