Slow news day or not, these spy shots just ended up in our email, so we had to share them with you. What we have here is the facelifted iteration of the Dacia Jogger, which was recently caught in the open in southern Europe, while it was doing its thing.
It's not called a facelift for nothing, as most visual updates revolve around the car's front end. A simple comparison with the current model reveals that the Romanian car manufacturer gave its people carrier a new bumper and headlights and tweaked the grille for the mid-cycle refresh.
We can also see what appears to be a tiny new air intake right above the front license plate and reshaped vents to the sides of the bumper. The changes are more modest at the rear, where the bumper carries over for now, though there is plenty of time for Dacia to give the facelifted Jogger a new one. The Volvo-like vertical taillights were likely updated, and the missing emblems on the tailgate will be added later.
Elsewhere, the scooped tester, whose front and rear ends were partially under wraps, features a dark gray paint finish and several black accents. It also retains its plastic cladding on the lower parts of the body, which gives it a more utilitarian look. We expect Dacia to give the facelifted 2025 Jogger new wheels and maybe one or two fresh colors, yet other than that, the minivan will soldier on with the usual stuff on the outside.
It's anyone's guess what the Renault-owned company has prepared for the 2025 Jogger on the inside. Logic tells us the infotainment system might have been updated, and it is possible that the car features a new steering wheel and perhaps a tweaked center console. This is usually the recipe behind most facelifts, so it would be obvious to assume that these could also be part of the revisions. New upholstery might round off the changes.
Are you curious about the powertrain family? So are we, though it is yet unknown whether Dacia will update the engine family. It is possible that the usual gasoline, hybrid, and LPG units will carry over, either with no intervention whatsoever or maybe with minimal updates. Either way, we should find out more about this and other topics as the car's testing phase advances and we see more prototypes in the open.
Dacia's mildly facelifted Jogger (at first glance, anyway) is probably a few months away from being unveiled. As you can imagine, the presentation date hasn't been announced, though given that the year is about to end, it is logical to assume that the updated people carrier will be shown to the world sometime next year.
