Ford introduced the seventh generation of the Mustang in 2022. One of the most essential versions of it was the GT, which provided both performances for track days and comfort for daily use.
At first sight, the seventh-generation Mustang was nothing more than a facelift for the sixth generation. And yet, the car was completely new from tip to toe and bumper to bumper. The GT version couldn't be left aside from this mix since it was one of the most sought-after from the Mustang lineup.
The new generation of the Mustang GT came with a front fascia that sported LED headlights and DRLs mounted on their upper side, like eyebrows. They also served as blinkers in a sequential mode. On the main grille, the well-known pony badge took center stage, flanked by two vertical slats. On the lower bumper, the Mustang GT featured a trapezoidal lower grille flanked by two side scoops. All of these were covered with a hexagonal-pattern mesh. Another unique feature of the GT version was the vents on the hood, which were not present on the inline-four models. From the sides, the car showed a similar profile to its predecessor, but at the back, the rear panel featured a pushed-forward crease, which created an even more dynamic image for the car.
Inside, the double-bubble dashboard design featured on all the Mustang's previous generations was dropped. Ford replaced that with a dual-screen setup, with a 12.4" wide display in front of the driver and a second 13.2" touch-screen atop the center stack. A pair of high-bolstered seats ensured stability for the front occupants. At the back, the automaker installed two more seats, albeit smaller and mainly suitable for children.
Under the hood, the automaker installed a five-liter Coyote engine paired with either a ten-speed automatic or a six-speed manual.
