Revisiting North Yankton has been on the minds of GTA V players for over 11 years, ever since the game launched in September 2013. Probably not as an undead battleground, but a win's a win. Finally, you can go where it all began and earn some sweet Halloween rewards while battling horrible creatures like zombies, colossal juggernauts, and possessed animals in the new Ludendorff Cemetery Survival mode.
First, take a look-see at the Ludendorff Cemetery Survival blip on your map and head over there to side with the living in eradicating the undead from the face of the earth.
If you're good enough to survive three waves of shambling corpses, you'll not only receive the Gray Creepy Cat Mask but also GTA$100,000 and twice the usual GTA$ and RP. You might want to hurry up, because the bonuses only last until October 23.
Furthermore, GTA+ members who take up arms against the undead army will receive the Mummy Outfit in 72 hours as a reward for their undying efforts (pun intended).
Rockstar Games is also challenging GTA Online players to stand united and mow down 80 million zombies, much like the collective mission objectives from Helldivers 2. Players will get the Orange Glow Skeleton Onesie and the Red Hooded Skull Mask if the requirements are met.
Next, the Ghosts Exposed activities reward double the GTA$ and RP through October 16. To obtain the Ghosts Exposed Outfit and the fan-favorite Ghosts Exposed Livery for the Albany Brigham, you must capture 10 apparitions on film.
The Brigham is perfect for this time of year. It is faithfully modeled after the 1959 Cadillac Miller-Meteor. And, yes, it's the very same Ecto-1 vehicle from the Ghostbusters movies. You'll get a text on your iFruit about tackling Ghosts Exposed.
Those who want to score triple rewards will have to join special Halloween-themed Community Series activities like {ALEE} HAUNTED HOUSE by aleeenur, Haunted cars by Intruder613, Graveyard Sniping by AMC_STUD, Pirates of Los Santos by XGoodFellah, #Hallowood# by xela1977, The Dark Ride by OHV-METAL-HEAD, or  TDM: The Mill Massacre by ajm_agrajag.
Also, don't forget about this week's discounts. In addition to all zombie masks at 50% off, many Halloween-style vehicles are available:
The Gun Van features the Minigun at half-off for all players, while the Compact EMP Launcher is also discounted by 50%, but only for GTA+ members. The other items include the Nightstick Double Barrel Shotgun Grenade Launcher Heavy Revolver Grenades Pipe Bombs, and Sticky Bombs Armor.
In a shocking (but not quite) twist of events, on October 29, after 14 long years, Rockstar is finally releasing Red Dead Redemption (2010) and Undead Nightmare on PC for $50.
Compared to its console counterpart, it has some unique features, like 4K resolution up to 144 fps and support for Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9) monitors, including HDR10. It's also compatible with Nvidia DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0.
If you don't have a PC or simply prefer playing on consoles like PlayStation, you'll find it's 30% off at $35 until October 24, five days before RDR hits PC platforms. It's a shame RDR 1 didn't get the RDR 2 graphical treatment, given that Rockstar's RAGE engine can produce some of the most sublime visuals on the market.
It's no wonder why fans are so eager to see Grand Theft Auto VI in all its new-gen glory. If the developers cared after it with the same level of passion they poured into Red Dead Redemption II, then we're all in for a unique experience, probably unlike any other to date.
