This 131-foot superyacht was the first in a hugely successful series, turning heads with its innovative design meant to enhance the ultimate immersive experience at sea. Originally linked to a famous owner, it changed hands relatively fast and is currently at its third owner. Third time's a charm – maybe this new ownership will finally last longer.
Seagreen was recently sold for €21,5 million ($23 million). It's not the only 40M Benetti Oasis, but it's most likely the most special of all because it was the first one of the series. Seagreen is a young yacht that was delivered just four years ago, but it has now been sold three times. The original owner was none other than former American powerboat champion Tim Ciasulli. He named it Rebeca after his wife and boasted about its many qualities in several interviews, famously stating that "this boat gets more eyes than an optician."

However, Rebeca was sold just two years after its famous debut. The trailblazing Benetti found a new owner and changed its name to Seagreen. This didn't last long, either. Earlier this month, Seagreen changed hands once again.

An Award-winning pleasure craft with exterior design by the British studio RWD and interiors by the New York-based Bonetti/Kozerski Architecture, Seagreen was the first to display the stunning Benetti Oasis Deck. This innovative concept includes fold-down balconies for an extensive beach club, a spacious sunbathing area with unobstructed views, and a large infinity pool.

In addition to the signature Oasis Deck, Seagreen also boasts the typical amenities you'd find on a luxury yacht in this size category, such as a big forward-facing jacuzzi on the sundeck, a spacious area for al-fresco dining and BBQ grills, and lavish cabins. The master suite with his- and-hers bathrooms and an adjacent fully-equipped gym sits on the main deck. Together with four other cabins, it ensures comfortable accommodation for up to 11 guests.

The extensive beach club with fold-down terraces and an infinity pool is what made all the 40M Oasis superyachts so popular, and everyone saw that first onboard the Seagreen. The sundeck is equally stunning, turning these yachts into lavish mansions at sea with some of the best outdoor spaces in the industry.

At the time of its latest sale, Seagreen was presented as being in perfect condition, which should be expected of such a young pleasure craft. More than 10 yachts in the same series followed Seagreen (the latest one was sold this month to its first owner), confirming the success of Benetti's Oasis Deck concept. The extended Oasis family also includes 113-foot yachts (34 meters) based on the same essential design.

The first Benetti Oasis 40M became instantly iconic when it launched four years ago and has paved the way for one of the brand's most successful series. Its new owner isn't publicly bragging about it and will perhaps hold on to it longer than the previous ones.
