history
Langen Motorcycles started its journey in 2018 as an automotive engineering and development company founded by Christofer Ratcliffe. The founder started drawing the plans for an ultra-lightweight motorcycle, actually the lightest motorcycle on the road.
In 2019, the founder began a special relationship with Vincenzo Mattia (Vins Motors based in Maranello), both sharing the same passion for building a lightweight pure motorcycle and had the desire to push the boundaries of technical excellence and innovations to a new level, giving life to Langen Motorcycles.
The company is based in Manchester, and they triumph further by adopting the local Mantra that says, "WE DO THINGS DIFFERENTLY HERE." During their first three years, the team took their time to gain experience and knowledge, while every team member of the company offered unique professionalism, top-class expertise, and a passion for pushing boundaries.
One of the Langen Motorcycles' range models is the Two Stroke, a small displacement machine produced in limited numbers with fully customizable bespoke geometry and ergonomics. Each machine is specially crafted for every rider.
Another model in their range is the Lightspeed, a sporty motorcycle with incredible attention to detail. The bike is slick and aerodynamic, making it the perfect symphony of power and technique.
Unlike the smaller 249cc Two Stroke model that delivers 76 hp and 45 Nm, the larger Lightspeed version is powered by a 1,190cc engine and provides an output power of 185 hp and 138 Nm.
