history
Savic Motorcycles is a company based in Australia that manufactures high-performance electric motorcycles characterized by Australian riders as the perfect fusion of old-world appearance and future performance.
Two decades ago, when Dennis Savic, the founder of Savic Motorcycle company, was 11 years old, he dreamed of building an electric motorcycle. His dream evolved ten years later, during his final year at university, by creating a pioneering e-moto chassis.
After 10 years and four prototypes later, Dennis Savic put together a team of world-class engineers, designers, and software programmers with a single goal in mind: To deliver beautiful and reliable electric machines that will make Australia proud.
The company was based in West Melbourne, and they developed a sophisticated production platform to scale their motors and batteries for a vast range of future electric machines, such as high-performance motorbikes, lightweight learner bikes, stand-up scooters, and other light-mobility vehicles.
All the vehicles in their range will be equipped with long-range lithium-ion batteries, liquid-cooled electric motors, and customized software that allows riders to connect with their vehicles wirelessly. In addition, the vehicles will be fitted with the latest safety technology developed in Australia, such as Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) and rider safety systems.
Savic Motorcycles has the Alpha and Delta models in its range, which are basically the same machine but with different specifications. Among other technical details, the Alpha model has a power of 60KW, 80 hp, 200 Nm (148 lb-ft) torque, and an MSRP of $26,990. Delta version packs 40Kw of power, 54 hp, 140 Nm (103 lb-ft) torque, and an MSRP of $19,990.
