Italjet Moto SRL, known as Italjet, was an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that had existed since 1961 and emerged from Italemmezeta, founded in 1957. The company went bankrupt in 2002 but still remained in the Italian market. In addition to scooters, the company also manufactured motorcycles and quads.

In 2014, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer released the Italjet Velocifero 125, a commuter scooter created for the urban jungle. It was powered by a 125cc four-stroke engine with great fuel efficiency in the city.

Italej's range comprised several scooters, including the Jupiter (a maxi scooter0, the Torpedo (a large-wheeled scooter), the Velocifero (a retro-styled scooter similar to the Vespa but with two headlights), and the Dragster, which had a single-sided swingarm, a space frame, and a hydropneumatic suspension.

The scooter's braking performance was achieved by a single disc mounted on the 12-inch front wheel and an expandable drum braking unit mounted on the 12-inch rear wheel.

In the performance department, the 2014 Italjet Velocifero 125 had installed a 124cc four-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled engine at its core, delivering 8 hp with maximum strength at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm (7 lb-ft) torque at 6,500 rpm.

An automatic transmission with a final belt drive converted the small engine's power into motion.

The visual department was characterized by a two-tone paint job, a dual headlight system, a two-piece dual seat, a luggage rack, and five-spoke alloy wheels.
