KASINSKI Prima Electric (2012-2012) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2012, the Brazilian motorcycle maker introduced the Kasinski Prima Electric, an electric scooter perfect for city streets. It offered a quiet riding experience and was available in Bordeaux and Beige, Green and Beige, and Yellow color schemes.

Kasinski was a motorcycle manufacturer located in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It was founded in 1999 by Abraham Kasinski and produced two and three-wheeled vehicles like motorcycles, scooters, and mopeds. The company was sold in 2009 to the CR Zongshen Group, controlled by Zongshen.

The company was started by purchasing Hyosung's industrial facilities, which allowed Kasinski to continue manufacturing its line of motorcycles under its brand name.

It was made around a steel frame that housed the suspension system, which comprised a telescopic fork mounted on the front and dual shocks on the rear. This system provided excellent suspension.

For braking power, the electric scooter was fitted with a single brake disc on the front wheel and an expanding drum on the rear, delivering optimum stopping power.

It was visually characterized by a full fairing with a single headlight up front, turn signals integrated into the handlebar-mounted cowl, a one-piece dual seat, a luggage rack with integrated passenger grab rails, and three-spoke aluminum wheels.

The 2012 Kasinski Prima Electric was powered by an electric motor that delivered 2.7 hp (2 kW). The air-cooled motor was assisted by an automatic transmission with a final belt drive that pushed the machine to a top speed of 60 kph (37 mph).
