The 2013 Kymco People GT 200i was released into the scooter world at the same price as the previous model year. It offered a comfortable riding experience with smooth power delivery thanks to its fuel-injected engine.

In addition to the price of $4,900, the scooter was delivered in the same package as the previous one, with the same technical, visual, and performance specifications without any significant changes.

Kymco was a Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer founded in 1964. The company made parts for Honda and built its first complete scooter in 1970. In 1992, it began marketing under the Kymco designation.

It packed a double-cradle steel frame underneath its fairings, which housed the suspension system. The system comprised two side-mounted shocks on the rear with five-position adjustability and a telescopic fork on the front.

Its 16-inch aluminum alloy wheels were fitted with braking components in the form of brake discs. The front was handled by a single disc with a three-piston caliper, and the rear by a single disc with a hydraulic caliper.

The scooter's appearance was characterized by features like a full fairing, a handlebar-mounted cowl with a large headlight and a small windscreen, large clear lens turn signals, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, a large top box for extra storage, and 12-spoke aluminum alloy wheels.

In the power department, the 2013 Kymco People GT 200i's soul was brought to life by a 205cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine managed by a fuel injection system. The power was redirected to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox with a final belt drive.
