The exotic Italian automaker headquartered in Sant'Agata Bolognese clearly has its hands full – with the all-new first-ever 789-hp Urus SE, the 907-hp Temerario, and the flagship Revuelto V12-powered 1,001 hypercar. Even better, they're all PHEVs.
Twice better, the company can't even cope with demand – while it's still making the final Huracan examples and preparing for the switch to the new Temerario V8 PHEV supercar, the order books are full for the Revuelto and Urus until 2026! As always, despite the massive MSRPs of Lamborghinis, their cars are selling like hotcakes, and the brand has also posted a new best-ever January through September sales result.
Naturally, while the sports cars are also selling well, the absolute gold mine is the Urus super-SUV. Introduced late in 2017, it easily thundered onto the market to become one of the most hyper ultra-luxury crossovers out there alongside models like the ruggedly stylish Mercedes-AMG G 63 or the suicide-door Rolls-Royce Cullinan, among others.
As such, whenever someone catches an example of the Lamborghini Urus, there must be a party – and this time around, it spread like wildfire to the aftermarket realm. More precisely, it reached the US West Coast, where RDB LA took it and worked their magic on a Performante version. They didn't do "much" – just a widebody kit installation with a factory paint match. However, this is no ordinary aftermarket kit; it's a full Satin Carbon Fiber treatment devised to work with the concave Y-spoke black wheels and the crossover super-SUV's Nero Nemesis attitude.
Unfortunately, there aren't any photos of the interior to see how the cabin mixes or contrasts with the exterior treatment, so perhaps you can't pass judgment on it. No worries, if this is not your cup of aftermarket coffee, the good folks over at Vossen in Miami, Florida, have something that's 'a little bit more' American – a Ram Trucks 2500 HD sitting way up high thanks to a massive lift kit on Vossen's LCX-03 wheels finished in Brushed Gloss Clear. It's a nice build, indeed, as we can also spot the modified fender flares, the roof rack, or the major custom work done underneath its enclosed bed and cabin. So, which one is your favorite?
If you say none, keep in mind that both Lamborghini and Ram have novelties in the pipeline. The former is just about ready to start production of the 789-hp Urus SE with the plug-in hybrid setup, and Ram Trucks has already shared the first photos and details regarding the updated Ram heavy-duty lineup – with the official debut set for later this year, potentially at the upcoming 2024 LA Auto Show (November 22 – December 1).
