Lamborghini made another step towards its electrification program when it introduced the Temerario supercar as its entry-level model in the summer of 2024.

The Italian supercar manufacturer was not at its first plug-in hybrid model since it was launched after its bigger brother, the Revuelto. However, there were few to expect what Lamborghini had to offer with its new entry-level model. Besides the stunning look that showcased hexagonal shapes in almost all areas, the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario, or Courageous in plain English, came with a more spacious cabin than the Huracan that it replaced, boasted a touch of luxurious features, and was packed with more technology than Lamborghini owners were used to have at the touch of their fingertips. Furthermore, the supercar’s performance was so good that it almost threatened its bigger and more potent sibling, the Revuelto.

Lamborghini unveiled the Temerario at the Monterey Car Week 2024, and the audience was stunned by the vehicle's look. Its narrow LED headlights peaked under the frunk’s lid with a menacing look. The V-shaped bumper was short above the almost vertical apron. There, the automaker placed a broad, trapezoidal air intake in the middle, adorned by horizontal slats and flanked by hexagonal-shaped daytime running lights. These, in turn, concealed the air ducts that provided fresh air to the front ceramic disc brakes. As a last detail for the car’s front fascia, Lamborghini added a carbon fiber chin spoiler.

From its profile, the 2024 Lamborghini Temerario had similar proportions to other mid-engined glorious supercars from Sant’Agata Bolognese. The door mirrors had a hexagonal shape and increased the airflow toward the engine’s air intakes, which were placed behind the cabin on the upper side of the rear quarter panels. The massive vents behind the doors were for cooling the powerplant, the electronic system, and the rear brakes. At the back, the hexagonal-shaped taillights had a hole in the middle to allow warm air to escape after the side-mounted radiators. The high-mounted and hexagonal-shaped exhaust tip concealed the two round pipes behind it. Lower, under the bumper, the Temerario boasted a functional diffuser.

Most Lamborghini supercars were cramped and barely provided room for two adults inside their cockpits. However, the Italian automaker made the 2025 Temerario more comfortable than its predecessor, the Huracan. Thanks to the longer wheelbase and taller cabin than the car it replaced, there was enough room for grown-ups. In addition, the sports bucket seats with high-bolstered areas were based on thin carbon fiber frames but with enough padding to ensure comfort when the car was driven on regular roads. There was not any single analog dial in the cabin. Instead, Lamborghini installed three screens. One fronted the driver for the configurable instrument panel, the one placed atop the center stack served as the infotainment center and controller for various functions of the vehicle (including the HVAC), and a third one was in front of the passenger. They could use it to control media or other functions and information. The steering wheel was cluttered with 21 buttons and switches, including the horn and the paddle shifters. There were also a few other buttons on the center console for the transmission and the electronic parking brake.

Under its skin, the 2025 Lamborghini Temerario concealed a marvelous technological masterpiece. The supercar was powered by a twin-turbocharged flat-plane crankshaft V8 engine and three electric motors, two at the front and another that helped the main powerhouse. In total, the car developed 907 hp (920 PS). Not all of them reached the rear wheels, though. The ones at the front provided 188 hp (191 PS), while the one integrated into the engine’s housing was there mostly to kill turbo-lag. The seven-speed automatic transmission (dual-clutch) was connected to the rear wheels only, while those up front were controlled via one of the car’s many computers. Thanks to this setup, the supercar could reach 62 mph (100 kph) from a standstill in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 210+ mph (340 kph). These figures were slightly lower than what its bigger brother, the Revuelto, could provide.
