MEGELLI Naked 250S (2015-Present) Specs, Performance & Photos

In 2015, the British motorcycle manufacturer released the Magelli Naked 250S, a motorcycle similar to its small sibling but powered by a larger 250cc engine. The larger powerhouse brought more power but also more overall weight.

Magelli Motorcycles was a British motorcycle maker founded in 2004 by Barry Hall, who specialized in off-road all-terrain vehicles, mini, and pit bikes. The company sold motorcycles in 37 countries in Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, and North and South America.

The company debuted at the 2007 EICMA exhibition in Milan and closed eight years later, in 2014. Its range comprised motorcycles with 125- and 250cc engine displacements.

The 2015 Magelli Naked 250S had installed a 249cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that boasted 27 hp with a peak at 9,000 rpm and 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.

The engine had a six-speed manual gearbox controlled by a wet multi-plate clutch linked to the rear wheel via a final chain drive.

Suspension-wise, the motorcycle packed an inverted nitrogen fork on the front and a single-shock absorber on the rear. For safety, the motorcycle's wheels were fitted with a single disc on both front and rear wheels clamped by hydraulic calipers.

Aesthetically, the motorcycle packed standard features like a trellis frame, a single headlight unit integrated into a fork-mounted cowl, a one-piece dual seat, a single exhaust system with a muffler mounted under the seat, and aluminum alloy wheels.
