MIKILON Pentora 250 (2016-2017) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Chinese motorcycle maker released the 2016 Mikilon Pentora 250, a quarter-liter ATV addressed to various riders. The machine suited both younger and more seasoned ones among the brand fans. Compared to the 250MX model, it had the same engine and features but different wheels.

Mikilon is the brand name of the Chaozhong Group in Wuyl City, Zhejiang Province, China. Mikilon produces dirt and play bikes for the Chinese, Australian, Philippine, and European markets. The bikes were Honda, Yamaha, and KTM copies (except they are equipped with Chinese-made Loncin engines). Mikilon manufactures 50, 110, 125, and 250cc dirt bikes and ATVs.

The 249cc single-cylinder, four-stroke, water-cooled engine has a bore and stroke of 70mm x 64.8mm. It has an electric starter and brakes with 270mm rotors. The styling is very familiar, as Mikilon offers bikes that use KTM, Honda, and Yamaha plastics.

The model packed two DNM air-cell adjustable shocks on the front and a single DNM oil-damped shock on the rear for suspension. Two discs mounted on the front wheels and a single disc on the rear axle achieved braking power.

For power, the 2016 Mikilon Pentora 250 had installed a 249cc four-stroke liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine at its core, boasting 25 hp at 9,000 rpm and 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.

Visually, the model had features like two headlights up front, a bull bar, a one-piece dual seat, a passenger grab handle, a single exhaust system, and four alloy wheels.
