In 2017, the Italian motorcycle maker released the Mondial Hipster 250, a neo-retro motorcycle that drew its design from the 1960s. It had an original design between a cafe racer and scrambler and was made in partnership with Pelpi International.

The 2017 model year was its second production year and packet the same specifications as the previous one, except for several visual and technical modifications like the rerouted exhaust system and different brake discs.

FB-Mondial is an Italian motorcycle manufacturer that produced bikes for at least 31 years between 1948 and 1979. The company was founded in 1929 when the four Boselli brothers founded FB. FB stands for Fratelli Boselli, a company that only manufactures and sells bikes and tricycles.

Although the company was mostly interested in racing motorcycles, it also manufactured multiple appreciated roadsters, such as the 125cc four-stroke bike released in 1950. The company became famous thanks to the competitions it participated in after the 1957 season, but the four brothers quit the company due to financial problems.

In the visual department, the Hipster 250 was identical to the 125cc version, with features like a round headlight up front, a single brown leather seat, side-mounted rear shocks, an engine spoiler, wire-spoke wheels, and a dual exhaust system.

The 2017 Mondial Hipster 250 had installed a 249cc four-stroke air-cooled single-cylinder engine that generated 25 hp with a peak at 9,000 rpm and 22 Nm (16 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
