MTT, which stands for Marine Turbine Technologies, is a US company based in Franklin, Los Angeles. What's interesting is that the company doesn't produce motorcycles; its main activity is actually manufacturing high-end turbines for boats.

However, it became famous thanks to a motorcycle, namely the Y2K superbike. This was a special bike equipped with a Rolls Royce Allison 250 turbo engine that could produce at least 320 horsepower. For those of you who don't know, this is actually a helicopter engine that works with both diesel and kerosene fuel, allowing it to reach a very high speed.

If you're still doubting that this is one of the most powerful motorcycles ever created, find out that it is the second bike in the world equipped with a gas turbine, reaching a maximum speed of no less than 365 km/h.

The 2001 MTT Y2K was manufactured from 2001 until the present (2024) and was powered by a Rolls Royce Allison 250 Gas Turbine engine that generated 320 hp with a peak at 52,000 rpm and 576 Nm (425 lb-ft) torque at 2,000 rpm.

The bike's aesthetic department was complemented by a full aerodynamic fairing, two headlights, a small windscreen, a single seat, two massive exhaust mufflers, one on each side, and three-spoke alloy wheels.
