Present at the ongoing 2024 Paris Motor Show, Renault Group is taking the opportunity to showcase its commitment to technological and ecological innovation by revealing electrified products that encompass all forms of transport. As part of the reveal of the new Renault 4 E-Tech electric, the diamond brand also presented a mini-caravan, a plane, a motorcycle, and a water bike, all of which are battery-powered and pay homage to the legendary Renault 4.
The initiative involves collaborations with multiple French startups to create the "4 movements" program, which is similar to the collaborative "5 movements" project organized around the reveal of the Renault 5 E-Tech electric in 2023.

"For the reveal of Renault 4 E-Tech electric, we are proud to be partnering with four French startups presenting four all-electric means of mobility. It's a stylish way to show the general public how e-mobility has developed to encompass all forms of transport, including the 4L, which is now Renault 4 E-Tech electric," said Arnaud Belloni, Global Chief Marketing Officer, Renault Brand.

One of the most compelling of the four avant-garde, one-of-a-kind mobility solutions is the Heritage Spirit Scrambler electric motorcycle. Developed by Annecy-based startup Ateliers HeritageBike, the e-motorbike draws inspiration from the iconic motorcycles of the 60s and 70s and promises a unique riding experience, combining vintage looks with high performance. It also represents a nod to the Renault 4 by wearing a Cloud Blue livery, the color that adorned the first Renault 4 when it was revealed in 1962.

Built with a steel frame, a bodywork made of composite materials, and a handmade leather saddle, the Heritage Spirit Scrambler offers 85 mm of travel and comes with Brembo disc brakes at the front and rear. It rides on 17" wheels with extra-wide, imposing Michelin Anakee Wild tires front and back for great grip and remarkable stability on any type of terrain. Fitted with Brembo 4-piston brakes at the front and a 320 mm disc, the Scrambler promises excellent braking performance.

In terms of power, the retro-inspired e-motorcycle is equipped with a 7 kW motor delivering an impressive 280 Nm of torque for a smooth riding experience. According to the company, it is capable of traveling up to 99 kph (61.5 mph). Feeding that motor is a battery of up to 4.6 kWh, promising about 110 km (68 miles) of range on a single charge.

According to Ateliers HeritageBike, “With the R4 version of the Heritage Spirit Scrambler, you can set off to conquer new horizons, carried away by a captivating riding experience, where every journey becomes a real escape."

Cost-wise, the Heritage Spirit Scrambler R4 is a decidedly premium e-mobility product. Specially designed for the Paris Motor Show 2024, the Cloud Blue version of the electric motorcycle will be offered in a limited edition of just 10 copies, each priced at €26,900 ($29,294).
