As such, along with the rumor mill, the parallel universes of vehicular CGI keep coming back to it with help from members of the imaginative guild of digital car content creators.
This time around, Vince doesn't make the rendering of an unofficial, hypothetical Toyota Land Cruiser Compact, but rather, he focused our attention on a creation from Japanese media – it’s a model clearly inspired by the current 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser but with the footprint of a RAV4. It's a boxy little thing, and it would surely give ample headaches to the next Jeep Compass or the Ford Bronco Sport if it ever came to life. It was also sold in North American markets.
However, instead of a full EV – the recent slump in demand for battery vehicles and the potential implications of the new Trump administration show that Toyota was always (cynically) right not to hurry with the EV adoption – this new model would definitely feature an ICE setup under the hood.
