Everything is bigger in America, is what they say. That literally means "everything," from fast-food French fries portions to sizing in clothes, but also cars, trucks, and motorhomes. Coachmen RV believes there's small niche where compactness would appreciated: European-styled compact motorhomes.
Coachmen is an experienced builder of travel trailers, camping trailers, fifth-wheelers, and motorhomes, now operating as a division of Forest River. As of 2024, they're offering a series of Class A motorhome of the kind you're unlikely to find somewhere else in North America: European-styled Class As.
That would be the aptly titled Coachmen Euro series of motorhomes, comprised today of three different floorplans, each available with a series of optionals that enhance comfort and autonomy at camp. Two of them have slide-outs, and all three are designed exclusively as couple's RVs.
First introduced in 2024, the Euro series is now officially in its second year, with the more recent model presented at the Dealer Expo a short while ago.
Available below is a comprehensive video tour of the 2025 Euro 25TB model, one of the three in the lineup. Presented in an all-black paintjob, it serves as a good example of this European-inspired approach to RV-ing proposed by Coachmen. It's compact luxury at its best.
Like the other models in the series, the 25TB model, where "TB" stands for "twin beds," uses a Ford F53 7.3-liter V8 chassis as the starting point. Everything else is built by hand by Coachmen, with plenty of attention to detail and quality, as well as a layout that packs every creature comfort you might need on the road.
This includes a large bedroom at the rear, a centrally-located dry bathroom, a residential kitchen (both in terms of the number and size of appliances), a lounge, and seating in belted seats for as many as four people. Only two of them will be able to spend the night on a regular basis, but extra sleeping for one guest is possible by converting the dinette into a single bed or switching the dinette for an optional sofa.
In standard spec, the Euro 25TB has the dinette on a slide-out, which means that you actually get plenty of space to move around at camp. The novelty of this dinette is it can serve as a dinette or as an extra sleeping bed, which is standard practice, but it also has belted seats, which means you can sit facing forward.
The kitchen across the way is compact but nicely specced, with an induction cooktop, a Furrion convection microwave, and a hood extractor, as well as a large sink and plenty of cabinets for storage. An XL fridge with a freezer sits in the "hallway" to the bedroom, right across from the bathroom.
Coachmen uses double floors to artificially create extra space onboard the 25TB, and the first place where you're going to notice this is in the bathroom. Despite the very compact dimensions, it features a walk-in shower, a macerating toilet and, one step down, a sink with a small vanity.
Three steps up is the bedroom, with twin beds connected by a large cushion with cupholders that's just perfect for binge-watching in bed. There's storage throughout, an oversize garage under the beds that's accessible only from the outside, and a large-screen TV mounted on the wall on the left.
Features include Azdel Onboard composite side material, LED lighting throughout, a 100-W solar panel on the roof, padded ceiling for that extra luxurious touch and extra sound insulation, dual ACs, a 30,000 BTU EI furnace, an on-demand water heater, a 5.5 kW gas generator, a power entrance step, an awning over the slide-out and a large awning on the other side, and an 85-gallon (322-liter) LP tank.
The Euro 25TB is rated for 16,000 lbs (7,257 kg) for gross vehicle weight and has a total exterior length is 28.4 feet (8.6 meters). Fuel capacity is 80 gallons (303 liters) and the motorhome carries a 50-gallon (189 liters) tank for freshwater, and a pair of 31-gallon (117-liter) tanks for black and gray, respectively.
Designed as a couple's RV, the Euro 25TB is primed for a life of luxury at camp, with no compromise in terms of comfort or amenities or, for that matter, space for all the basics. Though it's clearly inspired by European design, it's also bigger and fancier, not to mention more powerful, than what you get with a standard RV on the Old Continent. Expect that to be reflected in the price as well.
As with every other Forest River product, pricing on the Coachmen Euro depends on the dealer you're working with, as well as on the final spec and the condition or year of the unit. As a reference, though, you're looking at prices between $130,000 and $160,000, which makes this a premium product.
