The 2025 Wildwood FSX 30VCVIEW Toy Hauler Has a Movie Room and a Big Surprise

Forest River is a name that hardly needs an introduction, evolving from a small manufacturer that started out in 1996 into North America's leading manufacturer of RVs. On the side, they also do cargo and utility trailers, boats, and buses, so yes, they cater to a wide range of customers and market segments.

Their Widlwood brand is comprised of travel trailers, limited-edition travel trailers, and toy haulers that are essentially hybrids between toy haulers and travel trailers, offering that right combination of residential features and gear hauling capabilities. The Wildwood FSX 30VCVIEW is one such toy hauler.

The 2025 model is now available for pre-order with the Platinum Package, and it's the kind of RV that warrants attention for the way it's able to combine adventure and leisure capabilities in one elegant package that seemingly lacks for nothing. At the same time, it also bundles two rather surprising features that are unique to this line: a movie room and a "secret" room that can be anything from a gaming room to a bunk room or an extra space for storage.

We all know that versatility is the name of the game when it comes to having an RV that's ready for whatever life and your journeys throw at it, and the FSX 30VCVIEW definitely has it. It boasts sleeping for as many as six people, that cozy movie room that can turn into a garage, a drop-down patio that's also the loading ramp, a full kitchen, a full bathroom, a main bedroom with a king-size bed, and heaps of storage options, and that "secret" room.

With a total length of 36.6 feet (11.1 feet), this toy hauler is wrapped in glazing, hence the "VIEW" in its name. The Platinum Package on it brings smooth fiberglass exterior walls, a fiberglass front cap and a large front windshield that becomes the main window at the head of the main bed, solid stairs, and powered jacks on all corners.

The entire Wildwood line is described as "lightweight and easy to tow," and this also applies to the bigger entries in the lineup, like this one. Unloaded weight is 8,623 lbs (2,911 kg) with a cargo carrying capacity of 2,992 lbs (1,357 kg).

The FSX 30VCVIEW rides on twin axles and has fiberglass insulation throughout. The interior is very much residential in style and functionality, with a big kitchen taking up the entire central part. It's comprised of an L-shaped block that holds the appliances and plenty of storage, and an extendable island with a sink, which becomes the dining table only when it's needed.

Appliances are all Furrion: a three-burner propane range with a 3-in-1 cooker with convection oven and a full-size fridge with freezer. The dedicated coffee station on one side can be personalized and alternatively turned into an entertainment center, thanks to a TV wall mount.

The living room slash garage boasts a three-seat recliner sofa with a matching ottoman and a projector screen that covers the entire glass wall. At nighttime, the sofa can sleep two people, or it can be relegated to a décor piece if you decide to bring in toys, which you can – quite obviously – secure with dedicated floor mounts.

That's also when you'd be using the patio decking as a loading ramp. Otherwise, it serves to extend available living space into the outdoors, but it comes with integrated bug screens to keep critters out of the main habitat.

The big surprise is down the hallway towards the main bedroom, tucked between the kitchen and the bathroom. It's a multi-functional room with an extendable sofa and a drop-down bunk over it, facing a wall with a drop-down table and no less than three TV wall mounts. In short, it's prepped for whatever you have in mind for it, whether that's turning it into a gaming room, a kids' room, or a space for extra storage. To that third purpose, it also features an escape hatch door.

The bathroom is basic but large enough to accommodate all six people who might be sleeping onboard, with a large walk-in shower, a sink with vanity, a standard porcelain toilet, storage, and enough room to move around.

The bedroom at the rear features washer-dryer prep and more storage, nightstands, plenty of glazing, and a king bed with underneath storage space that connects to the pass-through storage haul you can also access from the outside.

Standard features include the oversize slide-out in the living room, a 20,000 BTU furnace, on-demand water heater, JBL interior and exterior sound system, a 22-foot (6.7-meter) power awning, 54 gallons (204.4 liters) of freshwater, an 80-gallon (303-liter) tank for gray and another 40-gallon (151.5-liter) one for black water.

Pricing depends on the dealer you're working with and the packages you add over the standard spec, but as a rough reference, you're looking at a figure upwards of $40,000.
