If you have a big enough budget, you can afford a camper van that beautifully blends luxury and adventure. Want it built and personalized according to your wants and needs? A custom project will cost you even more. Today, I'm discussing a premium tony home on wheels that's anything but ordinary.
Meet Bob and his fully custom build based on an AWD Mercedes-Benz Sprinter with a 170" wheelbase. Reparadise, a camper restoration and customization shop based in Salt Lake City, Utah, built this rig.

Bob is an avid fly fisher, biker, hiker, and outdoor lover. These hobbies have pushed him to build a custom camper van that fits his needs. Let's start with the exterior, which already makes this van stand out, and then we'll make our way to the even more distinctive part: the living space.

Since this rig will often be off the beaten path, Reparadise fitted a Van Compass Stage 4.4 suspension upgrade, which includes front and rear adjustable shocks and rear leaf springs.

The van rides on Black Rhino wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, a common combo for off-road-capable camper vans. At the rear, you'll find an Owl Vans spare tire carrier/ladder combo attached to the left door. In the spot where the spare tire used to sit as standard, the builders mounted a 26-gallon (98-liter) freshwater tank.

Climb the ladder, and you'll find a roof rack holding a 13-foot (4-meter) Fiamma F45s manual awning, a light bar at the front, and some pod lights with individual switches. The rack makes space for two other important roof features: a 48 V A/C and a vent fan. Weirdly enough, the company didn't mention anything about solar panels – I'd assume this build has some.

Slide open the main door, and you'll discover an inviting interior design that matches the exterior color theme. Bob opted for a beige look with beige-ish walls paired with hard maple cabinetry and other wood accents, such as the countertops and woven vinyl flooring. The cherry on top, an unmissable detail, is couch upholstery with a design that resembles a topography map.

This camper van has an open layout, meaning the driver's cabin isn't separated from the living space by a wall. This makes the interior feel much more spacious and offers more convenience, as you don't have to exit the living space to enter the driver's cabin. Furthermore, the driver and passenger seats can be swiveled around to face the interior.

You'll find the couch with this awesome upholstery and a tabletop attached to a swivel table dead ahead of the entrance. The couch can be transformed into a bed for kids or shorter people, and it offers storage inside it in the form of two massive drawers. Above, three overhead cabinets provide a lot of room for storage.

On the opposite side, Reparadise devised a kitchen. It features a deep black sink with a fold-down faucet and a filtered water faucet, a fold-down table designed to be used outside, an induction stovetop, a flip-up table for extra counter space, and a 130-liter 12 V fridge with a tiny freezer compartment.

For storage, you can use an overhead cabinet, four drawers, and a cabinet underneath the sink. The latter houses a greywater canister that can be easily pulled out and emptied. There are also two more drawers and a cupboard beside the couch.

The pillar beside the entrance integrates a control panel for the rig's utilities. It consists of plugs, light switches, a thermostat for an Espar heater mounted underneath the passenger seat, and a touchscreen display that controls the power system.

You'll find the bedroom at the interior's rear, which is positioned quite high up. It boasts a 7-inch-thick (18-centimeter-thick) mattress, two maple cubbies, two windows with sliding screens, four overhead cabinets, and two reading lights with USB ports. Furthermore, the bed platform and mattress can be removed if you need as much space as possible to haul some bulky cargo.

The garage is another cool part of this build. In most camper vans, the utility systems fully take up the boxes on the sides. But Reparadise did a smart thing: it fitted a 48 V power system, which takes up less space and is more efficient than the more common 12 V system.

This enabled the company to devise storage space in the same box (the one on the driver's side) that holds the batteries and other electrical components. Furthermore, the builders create a special slot where Bob can store his fishing poles.

Bob can go off-grid without a single worry about power. The electrical system has the equivalent of 800 Ah battery capacity. There's also room for a battery upgrade, although I highly doubt Bob will need one.

As expected, the box on the opposite side houses part of the plumbing system. It consists of a 2.5-gallon (9.5-liter) water heater, a water pump, another 25-gallon tank, and a sprayer. You can set up an outdoor shower by attaching a curtain to the doors. What's more, just like with the other box, you'll find cabinets in the upper part.

Another smart thing Reparadise did was set the heater to a high-temperature option. This allows Bob to mix in a bit of really hot water with cold water to get more warm water to use for showering, thus extending the 2.5 gallons to five or seven gallons.

Not only do you have plenty of storage space in the boxes on the sides, but the middle of the garage also offers a lot of room. Accessing the items you store there is really easy, as you can use a long slide-out tray. It provides the perfect setup for attaching bikes or other bulkier items, as you don't have to crawl inside to pull them out.

All in all, Reparadise did a stellar job with this tiny home on wheels. It has a fine blend of style and functionality, featuring a uniquely designed living space with most of the luxuries needed to go deep in nature.
