Toyota Motor North America hasn't said a word about the 2025 Toyota RAV4 - they simply uploaded the prices for the new model year without so much as a hint of an official press release or a formal announcement on social media.
The Japanese automaker's TMNA subsidiary has been doing great across the US automotive market during the first three quarters of the year – around 1.73 million units sold between Lexus and the namesake Toyota brand compounded a surge of 6.2 percent in terms of deliveries. They strive to keep up the good work, and their online portal already has quite a big roster of updates for the 2025 model year.

In fact, if we look at the lineup, it's easier to tell you what models have remained at 2024MY – Prius and Prius Prime, Tacoma and Tacoma i-Force Max, Corolla Cross and Corolla Cross Hybrid, Venza, bZ4X, as well as the Grand Highlander and Grand Highlander Hybrid. Well, as it turns out, TMNA silently updated the online portal to also include the best-selling RAV4 compact crossover SUV among the 2025MY family.

As it turns out, while the 2024 Toyota RAV4 started at a base price of $28,675 – and there were no changes compared to the prior model year – now the seventh year of production for the current-generation RAV4 which was introduced in 2018 for the 2019MY starts from a slightly higher MSRP of $28,850. By the way, all the prices we are about to quote don't include the DPH (delivery, processing, and handling) of $1,395 for the entire RAV4 series.

The starting MSRP is for the LE grade with the 2.5-liter four-cylinder, which churns out 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, channeled through a Direct Shift eight-speed ECT-i (electronically controlled transmission with intelligence) gearbox to the front wheels. There's also AWD available for extra greenbacks. Moving on, the XLE trim is now $30,360, followed by the Hybrid LE starting at $31,900.

The electrified model has a much higher 41/38 estimated MPG rating (compared to 27/35) and a 2.5-liter engine with ECVT plus standard AWD – the combined rating is 219 horsepower. Further down the line, the ICE-powered XLE Premium starts from $33,250, followed by the Hybrid XLE at $33,410, the Hybrid SE at $34,595, the cool Hybrid Woodland Edition from $35,120, the Hybrid XLE Premium at $36k, the Limited ($37,155), Hybrid XSE ($37,560), and also the Hybrid Limited at $40,205.

Now that we're into higher-priced territory, let's also discuss the plug-in hybrid 2025 Toyota RAV4 – there's no more Prime anymore because the Japanese automaker has decided to rebrand the PHEV as the 2025 Toyota RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid – plainer and simpler, also easier to understand. Also, there are some sweet financing deals. For example, the 2025 RAV4 is available with 5.99% APR for 72 months, and to "power up your adventures," the company has a $6,500 cash-back deal for the 2025 RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid.
