The super-rich love yachts, some because owning a floating palace is the ultimate status symbol, others because they like the idea of spending lavish vacations on the water, and others because they simply love the sea.
However, most superyacht owners rarely hang on to their extravagant floating toys for more than a few years, either because they get bored or want to switch to something bigger and better. We don't know which is the case for former NBA star Tony Parker, but his 115-foot (35-meter) yacht Infinity Nine has been listed for sale with Pierre Badin of Denison Yachting.
Built in steel and aluminum by AvA Yachts from Antalya, Turkey, Infinity Nine was launched as part of the shipyard's Kando 100 series and was delivered to the former pro basketball player in 2022. This is the first time the vessel has joined the market.
It was the second of two Kando 110 models designed by the yard's chairman and founder Atilla Küçükdiker and differs from the other hulls in the series because it subsequently benefitted from the addition of a swimming platform with an integrated crane. Parker and his advisory team are said to have been closely involved in the design process of the explorer superyacht, whose name was chosen as a homage to Parker's San Antonio Spurs jersey.
Apart from being a powerful explorer, Infinity Nine is also a lavish vacation yacht, so it features an abundance of spaces for relaxation and al-fresco socializing on all decks. For instance, the partially-covered flybridge houses a jacuzzi, while a spacious dining area and a full-service bar can be found below the hard Bimini. The open-plan salon on the main deck is remarkably large at 484 square feet (45 square meters) and boasts expansive windows for seamless views.
The yacht boasts a beam of 25.6 feet (7.8 meters) and a four-deck configuration. With a volume of 333 GT, it can accommodate a party of 12 guests across six staterooms, including two full-beam master suites on the main deck and the bridge deck aft, respectively, two VIP suites, one double stateroom, a convertible twin cabin. The owner's suite is designed as a haven for relaxation, with its own private balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows for fantastic sea views. There is also accommodation for a crew of up to seven.
As an explorer yacht, Infinity Nine is no slouch in terms of performance, either. Powered by two Volvo Penta 650 hp diesel engines, it can reach a top speed of 14 knots and offer a range of over 6,000 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10.5 knots. According to the broker, this impressive range is a record for its size category.
What's more, it comes equipped with the latest generation of hydraulic stabilizers by Side Power, ensuring optimal comfort for guests onboard both at sea and at anchor. For full enjoyment of the sea, the yacht's garage can house a variety of water toys, from jetskis and seabobs to snorkeling gear and towables.
Currently located in Monaco, Infinity Nine is listed for sale, with an asking price of €11,950,000, which is nearly $12,600,000 at current exchange rates.
