Milltek's American subsidiary, Milltek Corp, located in Tennessee, has recently added five new model series to its range of OEM+ aftermarket performance exhausts, and they're all major darlings in the US automotive market.
Just like any other self-esteemed representative of the aftermarket realm, Milltek's US subsidiary was also present with a stand at the 2024 edition of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, between November 5 and 8. Over there, it presented no less than five new additions to the range – which has expanded quite fast since Milltek Corp was founded in 2022.
The new 2025 Ram 1500, Toyota Land Cruiser, Toyota Tacoma, Ford Bronco, and the best-selling Ford F-150 are the latest model series added to the portfolio of OEM+ aftermarket performance exhausts engineered for SUVs and pickup trucks for better audio and performance credentials. Milltek Corp, a subsidiary of Milltek Sport founded in the United States just two years ago, already has its local R&D engineering team drawing from the 40+ years of Milltek experience with models in the UK and Europe to develop new exhaust systems specifically for passenger cars and high-riding models in the USA.
"As automotive manufacturers strive to make their vehicles more efficient, we've noticed that some engines don't always sound as good anymore," said Steve Pound, CEO of Milltek Corp (himself a Ram Trucks owner). "So, our skilled engineers design our premium OEM+ exhaust systems to enhance the tone and volume again, and we believe trucks deserve to sound good, too," he added.
Milltek has noted that Stellantis recently ordained for Ram Trucks to get rid of the Hemi V8 and replace it with the new 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, which – "although it has more power, many feel it sounds a little muted in comparison." No worries, as the aftermarket outlet solved the conundrum with its new Cat-Back exhaust systems featuring polished or Cerakote black 5.5" tips that use a reflective silencer to prevent drone – they not only enhance appearance but also the sound characteristics.
The 2024 Toyota Tacoma mid-size pickup truck, the best-selling model in the segment, gets resonated or non-resonated versions for the models with the 2.4-liter turbo engine in Hybrid Crew Cab models (both 5ft bed and extended Cab 6ft bed options). Additionally, Milltek recently introduced resonated and non-resonated exhaust systems for the legendary, best-selling Ford F-150 - 2021+ SuperCrew 3.5-liter Twin Turbo V6 EcoBoost or 5.0-liter V8 models, including Tremor. Also, all versions of the sixth-generation Ford Bronco get them, too.
Milltek Sport, the parent company of Milltek Corp, was established in the United Kingdom in 1983 in Derby and has since grown into a global manufacturer of performance exhaust systems thanks to its recently-founded USA facility in Tennessee as well as the development and testing center near Germany's iconic Nürburgring racetrack.
