The Triumph Speed Twin is a motorcycle manufactured by Triumph since 2019. It was presented as the modern successor of the Triumph Speed Twin made in 1938 and was part of the Triumph Bonneville range, created to fill the gap between the 900cc Street Twin and the larger 1200cc Thruxton.
The bike was refreshed in 2021 with small cosmetic changes, higher-spec Brembo brakes, an inverted Marzocchi fork on the front, more power, and a 500 rpm rev limiter increase.
In 2024, the British motorcycle manufacturer announced major upgrades for the Speed Twin and introduced a more energic motorcycle under the Speed Twin 1200 RS designation. Both machines are set to hit dealerships in December 2024.
The new Triumph Speed Twin 1200 comes with chassis upgrades and more top-end technology like Optimised Cornering ABS and traction control for enhanced handling capabilities.
The bike is made around a tubular steel frame suspended on a 43 mm inverted Marzocchi fork on the front with 120 mm of travel and an aluminum swingarm with twin adjustable Marzocchi shocks on the rear, traveling for 116 mm.
The Motorcycle's 17-inch wheels were fitted with two 320 mm floating discs, four-piston Triumph-made calipers on the front, and a 220 mm fixed rotor assisted by a two-piston Nissin caliper.
Taking a step in the performance department, we learn that the 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 is controlled by a 1,200cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that delivers 104 hp with a peak at 7,750 rpm and 112 Nm (83 lb-ft) torque at 4,250 rpm.
The new 2025 Triumph Speed Twin 1200 will hit dealerships in December 2024 and at an MSRP of $16,700.
