For the last few weeks, The Crew Motorfest had some rather disappointing discounted bundles at the in-game shop. The cars weren't that appealing, and the prices were extremely high. While this week isn't a great improvement, at least we're getting some decent rides. Spoiler warning: odds are that you might already own one.
First, let's check out this week's Summit Contest rewards, which lasts until October 9. If you snatch the Bronze award, you get 100,000 XP, while the Silver rewards players with Legendary Performance Parts. Gold will get you a Mazda MX-5, while Platinum only has a Rare (blue) Mecha Suit Underglow.
Next week, the Japanese Custom Vol. 2 event occurs between October 9 and 16. Bronze will get you 5,000 parts, while Silver awards 10 Legend Points. Gold features a pretty sweet Mitsubishi FTO GP Version R Nebula Edition. Platinum offers an Epic (purple) Nova PUlse Underglow.
Now for the discounts. The LBWK Reign Bundle is currently 20% off, at 339,359 in-game Bucks or 48,479 Crew Credits, down from 424,200 Bucks or 60,600 CC.
It contains two beauties, the 2021 Toyota GR Supra LBWK Edition with a 532/750 Performance Level. You might already own this own. It has a 3.0-liter inline-six turbocharged engine borrowed from BMW. Thanks to well-crafted German engineering, this Japanese sports car can produce 340 horsepower and get from 0 to 60 mph in 4.3 seconds.
A newer model year can produce 382 hp with 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) and has been spotted hitting 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.9 seconds. It can also finish the 1/4-mile in 12.5 seconds. It's only 0.1 seconds slower than a 2022 BMW M340i xDrive, which isn't anything to scoff at.
Next up, we have the 2015 Nissan GT-R Haru Edition, which looks pristine. There are too many decals on it, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. This powerhouse cages the famous 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 VR38DETT mill, which generates 550 horsepower at 6,400 rpm.
There aren't any specific in-game stats about this model, but the real-life 2015 GT-R with AWD has been known to hit 60 mph in just 3.0 seconds. It can complete the 1/4-mile with 11.2 seconds on the clock while going at 125 mph or 201 kilometers per hour.
The Custom Bundle features a whiplashing 2019 McLaren 720S Spider Liberty Walk edition that generates 710 hp and can hit 60 in 2.9 seconds. It can even get well under that if you get the timing right.
It comes with Rare Neon Blade Nitro and red Uncommon Burnout Smoke. The only sad thing is that you can only buy it with Crew Credits, which costs real-life money. It's 30% off at 217,000 CC, down from 310,000 CC.
The 2020 Zenvo TSR-S from the Featured Bundle is the most expensive and fully priced item here. It costs a whopping 1,260,000 in-game Bucks or 180,000 Crew Credits. This monster has a 645/900 Performance Level and commands 1,177 horses thanks to its 5.8-litre V8 engine.
The stats say it gets to 62 mph or 100 kph in 2.8 seconds, but it can likely beat that. For such a powerful beast, it only weighs 3,296 pounds or 1,495 kilograms, which surely helps it reach the ghastly top speed of 202 miles or 325 kilometers per hour.
That's pretty much it for The Crew Motorfest during the first week of October. Just one month from now, it will be running on the PlayStation 5 Pro consoles worldwide, which will be an exciting experience.
