The Violet Edition tiny home goes beyond size limitations to create a uniquely pampering ambiance wrapped in high-quality craftsmanship that can pass the test of time. Inside, the skillful blend of functionality and elegance gets an unexpected contemporary twist through the addition of a gorgeous main-floor bedroom that embraces the outdoors.
One of the qualities of a successful formula is never-ending versatility, and the same goes for popular tiny home designs. Mint Tiny House Company's Loft platform features a highly-coveted three-bedroom configuration with dual lofts and one main-floor bedroom.

While this may sound like a straightforward answer for customers who want a more traditional take on accommodation, there are many possible interpretations of the same basic concept. That is why the Loft tiny house is offered in several layouts, each with its unique twists and a fresh perspective that will appeal to some more than others.

The Violet Edition looks and feels like a peaceful cocoon designed for ultimate relaxation and a blissful outdoor experience. Violet's hidden gem is a contemporary-style bedroom with private access to the outside and gorgeous French doors that blur the line between the inside and the outside.

Many Airbnbs today are integrating this contemporary trend of indoor/outdoor spaces where guests can feel deeply connected to nature and fully pampered at the same time. When applied to bedrooms, the result is a profound immersive experience – imagine waking up to lovely, unobstructed views of a beautiful landscape each morning and being just one step away from nature from the privacy of your personal sanctuary.

The Violet tiny house recreates this vacation-like experience as a full-time residence. Its beautiful master bedroom also features classic shiplap walls reminiscent of beach homes and a big window for air circulation. It has just enough space for a double bed and nightstands, but the French doors create a sense of vastness.

A sliding barn-style door separates the master bedroom from the bathroom and laundry. This particular layout is focused on adding extra space to the bedroom and bathroom, compared to the kitchen. Other similar designs may choose to include family-sized kitchens and keep the bathroom as small as possible. Instead, the Violet is mostly about comfort and pampering – a traditional bedroom with private French doors and a spacious, elegant bathroom are the hallmarks of a luxurious spa retreat.

The same classic white color scheme with shiplap walls as the bedroom makes the bathroom feel even bigger and more traditional. In the lounge and kitchen area, Violet adds dark-toned wood accents for a wonderful contrast to the white furniture and a grounding effect; this includes the ceiling beams in the lounge, the floors, and the staircase handrail that looks just as decorative as it is functional.

This staircase leads to the bedroom above the lounge, which features large windows on both sides and a multi-purpose safety wall with built-in storage compartments on the inside. Downstairs, the space between the staircase and the lounge was wisely used to create additional storage by adding built-in cabinets that almost seem to blend in with the walls for a seamless effect. This particular layout also creates a more intimate, cozy ambiance in the lounge area, which feels more like a private nook for relaxation.

Still, it also resembles the master bedroom in embracing the outdoors for a deeper connection with nature; with windows on two sides and glass doors to one side, this cozy living room stays bathed in natural light throughout the day and surrounded by beautiful views at all times.

When it comes to the kitchen, the Violet layout keeps things simple and functional. While not a family-sized version, this luminous cooking space provides sufficient storage, and it incorporates all the basic appliances for long-term accommodation, including a cooktop and oven (both propane), a stainless steel range hood, and a full-size fridge (fitted with a clever drawer at the base of the tower for extra storage).

What stands out inside this compact kitchen is the snack bar right next to the main entrance, which is also seamlessly connected to the kitchen countertop. It's a common feature in many Mint Tiny House Company models, and we can see why: it takes very little space and is multi-purpose (dining and work).

The Violet integrates all of this within 386 square feet (35.8 square meters), and with the addition of a convertible sofa in the lounge, it can easily accommodate up to six people. Still, like most models in this size category (34-foot/10.3-meter length), it's compact enough for easy maintenance year-round. The second loft reached via a classic ladder, acts as a versatile multi-purpose space that can be used for storage, hobbies, or as a third bedroom.

The Violet Edition tiny house is priced at $111,265/CAD 144,500 and can be further customized to become a dream home, especially for those who value their personal space as a sanctuary.
