Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It's nothing more than an old BMW M car that has long overcome its OEM status to the point where it's kitschy, though the person (or persons) behind the modifications sure took a lot of time to ensure everything fits and there are no abnormal gaps.
That's a weird association of words to use in this story that revolves around the pictured Bimmer: no abnormal. The car is certainly out of the ordinary, and it would be suitable to star in a movie based on the GTA IV video game.

We found images of it on worst.spec (Instagram – embedded below), and the modifications are obvious. It seems that not a single body panel escaped the owner's wrath. Everything is custom, from the modified front bumper with a large chin spoiler attached to it, a huge bulge on the hood, odd-shaped door panels, new side skirts, a boxy rear end, and so on.

Due to the typical headlights and small kidney grille, this one-of-a-kind build still looks like an E36 BMW M3 at the front. However, it's completely different at the opposite end, where it no longer retains the OEM taillights, bumper, trunk lid, quarter panels, etc. Everything was customized here, including the dual tailpipes sticking out from the tiny cutouts in the new bumper and the wing on the deck.

Although wide, the wheels are small in diameter. They have a bi-tone look that mixes silver and orange, and the latter hue was applied to the entire exterior. The cockpit is mostly white, with a few contrasting touches, and it's the only thing we like about this build, as everything else is kitschy.

According to the quoted social media channel, this old BMW M3 has been in a garage for 15 years. Its owner decided they no longer needed it, and they're looking to find a new home for this unique machine. The right-hand-drive car can be found in the United Kingdom, and you can make it yours for a cool $15,000, which comes out to almost $20,000 at the current exchange rates.

It is unknown whether you also get the OEM body panels with the sale and other stuff such as the original wheels and whatnot, but if you want it, which we seriously doubt, then all you have to do is scroll through eBay UK to find the ad. While that may sound tricky, keep in mind that it is a one-of-a-kind build that stands out like a sore thumb. So, chances are you will come across the ad in no time, yet we'd obviously pass on it, as there are more appealing E36 BMW M3s out there. But would you?
