Not sure how many of you remember this, but about a month ago American bike maker Indian announced some of its bikes, most specifically the 101 Scout and FTR R Carbon, will enter for a limited time the violent world of PUBG Mobile. The bikes are no longer available to enjoy in the popular game, but others made elsewhere are stepping into the spotlight into an even more impressive virtual world of war: Call of Duty: Warzone.
We knew from a couple of months ago that there would be some sort of tie-up between British bike maker Triumph and the game. Back then, when the Call of Duty: NEXT event took place in Washington DC, no less than sixteen Triumph Scrambler 1200 and Tiger 900 were shown on the sidelines of the event, all of them wearing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Cerberus logo. They were even used to escort guests through the city, going past some of the capital's most important landmarks, including the White House and the National Building Museum.
But now Triumph's involvement with Call of Duty is about to get really serious. With the Black Ops 6 game already rolled out in full, Activision is getting ready to launch Season 1 for the game, including for Warzone.
It is there where players will be able to experience, this time not limited in any way, a Triumph motorcycle, more specifically the TF 250-X, a motocross bike powered in real life by a 250cc engine and fully equipped for hardcore riding.
In the game the motorcycle will be fully rideable, and it will make use of the entire Call of Duty arsenal of in-game mechanics. That means players will be able to ride it in the usual fashion, but will also be able to pull stunts such as knee-down cornering, jumps, and skids.
The bike will be ridden on both the existing maps and the new ones Season 1 will bring with it. Sadly, Activision has not revealed the full scope of novelties coming to the game with this update.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can be played no matter where you are in this world, and regardless of the gaming platform you use. It works on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC, and can be downloaded from the stores of these consoles, as well as Steam.
The game was an instant hit as soon as it was released. This past weekend, which was its first full weekend on the market, no less than 306,000 players logged in, making Black Ops 6 more popular than Modern Warfare 2 and 3. The fact that it is available via PC Game Pass for the first time probably helped.
