Shiv currently serves as Professor and Dean (Training) at IIHMR University, Jaipur. He also leads Humanistic Management Network India as Chapter Lead. Shiv has more than 23 years of experience in teaching, research, consulting and training in Strategy, Ethics, Governance, Sustainability and Leadership issues. As a trainer and facilitator, he has worked with a number of companies and institutions including National Thermal Power Corporation (India) and International Society for Advancement of Scientific Publications (INASP, UK). He has delivered invited presentation in a number of international conferences in India, Brazil, Egypt, Germany, Kenya, Malawi, Poland, Romania, South Africa, Switzerland and USA. His corporate experience includes advisory and board membership roles in different companies in India, South Africa and Tanzania including 3year advisory term at University of Stellenbosch Executive Education Limited, South Africa.

Shiv has supervised 12 students for an award of Ph.D. degree in Business Management and has been a member in Doctoral thesis committee of different universities in India, Tanzania and France.  He has published more than 75 articles, book-chapters and case-studies including six books. He is member in United Nations Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) ‘Anti-Corruption’ and ‘Poverty Eradication’ Working Groups. He is Fellow of One Planet Education Network (OPEN). Shiv has been recognized as a Pioneering Professor for promoting sustainable development focused education initiative, jointly by Flourish Prize Initiative, Case Western Reserve University (USA) and UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). 

He received his Bachelors’ degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering followed by Masters’ in Business Administration. His doctoral work on ‘comparative management philosophies of East and West’ is pioneering in nature,and was foundation for publication of ‘Corporate Yoga (IAP, USA).’  He is an alumnus of International Faculty Programme (IESE, Barcelona), Management Teachers Programme Certificate (IEDC, Bled, Slovenia) and International Programme on Management of Sustainability Certificate (University of Tilburg, The Netherlands). He is also alumni of Management Teachers Programme of Strategic Management Forum, a series of 6 programme of at premier Indian B-Schools (IIM-Ahmedabad, IIM-Lucknow, IIM-Khozekode, XLRI and IIFT).
